Hiking in Wyoming (Grand Tetons)?

I am organizing a backcountry hike in August in the Grand Tetons and am looking for suggested hiking trails/routes. We want to hike at least 5 days and can cover at least 32-miles. We are in good shape and want roughly 7-mile days with maybe 1 or so higher mile days. We want to camp near lakes or rivers or other beautiful areas. We will probably need to do a loop route. Thanks!

You could build a good trip around this loop with multiple starting points (String Lake, Jenny Lake, Lupine Meadows, or Death Canyon trailhead) or in either direction. Go up Death Canyon to the Death Canyon shelf, through Alaska Basin along the Teton Crest Trail, down the S fork of Cascade Canyon to the fork. (An early exit is available here, down Cascade Canyon to Jenny Lake) Want to keep going?.. go up the N fork to Lake Solitude, up and over Paintbrush divide and down to Holly Lake. Come down Paintbrush Canyon to the String Lake Trail and along the base of the range to complete the loop. Good camping exists all along the way, you will need to get backcountry permits at Jenny Lake, Moose or Colter Bay. Camping is allowed for loop hikers only at Bradley Lake if you are trying to get back to the Death Canyon trailhead from Paintbrush. Nat Geo makes a great map of the Tetons, by the way...it shows all of the camping areas, too. Hope this helps,
EP
