what are the Best Hiking Boots to get to hike up a 14,000 ft. mountain?
*I need a professional's opinion...... I'm going hiking up a 14,000 ft mountain & need the BEST hiking boots out there, waterproof, light weight, the whole shabang- what do u think about timberlands? i've looked into rocky boots, but i heard they weren't as waterproof after a while, and not so great..... what kind of hiking boots should I get?
I hiked over Forrester Pass (13,200) in late May and did a lot of hiking in the snow with a pair of Zamberlan 310 Skill GT Hiking Boots. They are waterproof and durable. I hiked over 1000 miles on my first pair. They worked great in both the desert and the Sierras.
