Is there IQ differences between the races?
Genetics give us shape of eyes, lips, breadth of nose, skin color but "NOT" intelligence if find it very odd that intelligence is the only thing evolution will not touch?
Race Differences and the Out-of-Africa theory of Human Origins. East Asian-White-Black differences fit the theory that modern humans arose in Africa about 100,000 years ago and expanded northward. During prolonged winters there was evolutionary selection for higher IQ created by problems of raising children, gathering and storing food, gaining shelter, and making clothes.
Mind you that Cranial capacity's of blacks are 1,267, whites 1,347 and Asians 1,364
Race differences in brain size are present at birth. By adulthood, East Asians average 1 cubic inch more cranial capacity than Whites who average 5 cubic inches more than Blacks.
Or I'm I to understand that there was nothing gained by Evolution in that trek to Europe and Asia? Hummm how odd?
OMG, we are doing this same topic in sociology class...This is crazy. Race, or skull/ brain size DOES NOT determine Intelligence or IQ, it is strongly influenced by environmental and economic situations. I can bet those Africans who had a low IQ were maybe from a poorer society, where less emphasis may be placed on education in comparison to whites and asians (or whatevr other races)....
Im black, though not exactly an African (Im Jamaican) and i have a very high IQ, i have a 4.0GPA dear ...I have many other black frenz who are smart too. It just depends on things like how u were brought up and factors in the environment that influence ur behaviour and attitude....BIOLOGY DOES NOT DETERMINE INTELLIGENCE...I THOUGHT PEOPLE WERE WAAAY PAST THAT STUPID ASSUMPTION....
