Texas Hiking Trails

What are some good North Texas lakes for hiking?
I live in Arlington, TX and I'm looking to take a day trip tomorrow. I like to go to Lake Arlington and Benbrook, etc. but I'd like to go somewhere that's a little more primitive. I'd like a place with some good hiking trails etc within about an hour of Arlington, TX. Any ideas?
I'm looking for somewhere a little closer. 1 to 2 hours away is ideal. Has anyone been to Cedar Ridge Preserve?

Lake Georgetown, Good Water Trail - Georgetown Texas Hikes
The rugged Good Water Trail is named for the Tonkawa people, or Tickanwatic, who called this land near the North Fork of the San Gabriel River the “land of good water.” The trail winds through dense juniper stands, hardwood bottomlands, and prairie grasslands, often along the limestone cliffs that border Lake Georgetown, which was constructed by the Corps of Engineers for flood control. The lake also serves as the water supply for Georgetown and Round Rock.
