looking for nice places to camp in northern california.?
so me and my sister and her family and some friends want to go camping for the fourth of july, but i want to find different places to go other then the normal clear lake or lake barryessa. i was wondering if anyone knew of other places to camp at preferibly with a lake and family oriented. lookinf for clean campgrounds with showers and bathrooms and still affordable. thanks!
Lake Tahoe (both north and south) and Lake Shasta are really good in Northern CA. But do remember getting a place now for July 4th at a good place will be very difficult.
Try the ocean front around SFO or up North of SFO. You could even give Yosemite a chance. I was there last weekend and the Merced river and all the falls still have lot of water.
