Do you think Camp Rock will be bigger than High School Musical?
Here's my logic behind it:
Right now, the Jonas Brothers are huge and immensely popular. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens did not become really famous as they are now until AFTER High School Musical. The stars of the High School Musical franchise are already starting to be beat out by Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers, therefore, I predict Camp Rock will be a bigger hit. I read in a past issue of “TV Guide Magazine” that Disney released news of a “High School Musical 4”, but I think those plans will be scrapped after the success of Camp Rock. What do you think?
I know that alot of you are not High School Musical, Jonas Brothers, or Disney Channel fans, but please respect that I would like a serious discussion. Thank you to those who keep my request in mind.
I understand what you're saying here. Love them or hate them, the Jonas Brothers are incredibly popular. In Camp Rock, the kids are happy, young, wholesome and talented. The JB are really good role models for kids right now as they have not let fame get to their heads, unlike the HSM crew and Miley (no offense). HSM and it's crew are getting old and dry now, people want something fresh and new, and CR is it. CR will never get as annoyingly overadvertised as HSM, but it has a chance of getting higher ratings, and will be more appreciated in the future. I can just imagine HSM on VH1's "World's cheesiest movies EVER!!" in a few years time. CR won't, it'll deserve the fame and ratings it will recieve.
