Hiking Trails Of North Georgia
Hiking Trails of North Georgia

Where should my fiance and I go for our anniversary?
My fiance and I are planning a trip (last minute because he just got the time off work) for our four year anniversary. We live in Georgia, an hour north of Atlanta and want to go to the mountains for the weekend. Does anyone know of any good places we should go? We really don't want to go more than about 4 hours away. We're both very active, and like to have things to see and do. We're not much for hiking and trails, but more like, shops and things to see.
We've already been to Gatlinburg TN, and I was thinking maybe Ruby Falls, but would like some other opinions. In addition, it can't be too terribly expensive!
My fiance works around stone mountain, so that's really not a get away for us. we're thinking romantic getaway in the mountains.
I moved to Snellville last July & moved to Savannah in February. My favorite places would have to be Stone Mountain, Helen, & Savannah. Helen & Savannah both have cute shops, restaurants, & bars to go to. I'm not sure on what hotels there are to stay at, but I know that activity wise it's pretty cheap.
