recommend city to stay in near redwoods?
i'm taking a trip to drive down the west coast. the day i'm trying to sort out now is when we drive from crater lake to the redwoods. we'd like to stay on the california coast. can you recommend a city?
(we plan to drive & hike in the redwoods the following day, then continue driving down the coast. we'd like somewhere scenic with awesome food options, & good beers.)
Muir Woods is a beautiful place to see the redwoods and not far from the coast(highway 1). So it is near the town of Mill Valley. Mill Valley would be an ideal place to stay and is a very nice quaint town. Then after your visit, just head west to highway 1 and there you go.
