Hiking Oregon Coast
Hiking Oregon Coast
Where is the best mountain climbing on the west coast?

I want to go mountain climbing in California, Oregon, or maybe even washington. I'm a hobby hiker, so I'm not talking about rock climbing, -10 degree weather, and an ice pick. At the same time I want something challenging (maybe take 2 or 3 days to hike) with lots of natural beauty (views along with flora).

Any suggestions?

Sequoia big trees park in the central sierra CA. It boasts the largest living thing on Earth. The General Shermen Sequoia tree at 40 ft wide and 100 ft high. Lassen national park in northern CA. has hot springs, geysers, and other volcanic activity as well as hiking. Good uncrowded campgrounds. And of course Yosemite NP in CA. There's three to get you started. Have fun
