2 day getaway near Orange County?
My boyfriend and I have Wednesday and Thursday off next week and want to do a little getaway, we either want cheap tickets to fly somewhere or somewhere to drive that is fun and relatively cheap. We've done the Palm Springs. We are active people, so I was kind of looking for somewhere that has fun little city but that we can go hiking or something, either beach hikes or forest. Please help us out! Everytime I go online and search they always just say sequoia, or big sur...which is exactly what I would be looking for if we had more that 2 days.

Channel Islands is a good choice.
Have you ever done a stay-cation. Staying overnight in a place you normally wouldn't is more fun that you would think. Since you are interested in mid-week, you can probably get a decent rate at some local hotels.
