GUNS Super light weight with power?
I want to carry a light weight gun when I go backpacking.
I am planning a Alaskan hike and I need something that is super light and will stop a grizzly.
Now I am not going to try to cap the bear from afar. It will only be for extreme emergency- as in the bear has me in his mouth already. ( 5 feet or less)
I was thinking maybe a Amerian Arms Over and under 45 cal.
Is there a website I can go and find this stuff out?
For you guys that will no doubt respond saying i need some heavy pistol dont waste your time. I am determined to go as light as possible. any links?
Consider the Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan model. Its pretty much designed with your specific purpose in mind. It's a double action revolver chambered in .454 or .480 and weighs in around 2lbs.
