Hiking Appalachian Trail
Hiking Appalachian Trail
Ride Harley or Hike the Appalachian Trail?

OKAY, what should I do? Ride or Hike?
My initial plans were to hike the AT (Appalachian Trail) next year or ride accross the US on my new Harley FLHX. Or do both? I planned to start hiking in late Feb. and finish up in Aug.

Now, I take delivery on my cycle April 20th and I now want to ride from NC down to Austin, over to Vegas and up through Idaho and back accross. But I am torn between decisions.
Or I could just hike until April 20th and pick up the Bike and store it along the trail.(storage units) and keep hiking. and when I am done hiking I could ride just down to Austin anyway.
My life is growing short so I feel that next year is my final chance for fun.

Do the stuff that needs some level of physical fitness first, you can ride that Harley across the US even if you are 80 but might not be able to hike the trail at that age. Furthermore hiking the trail now will make you healthier so you will be able to ride the Harley when you are 80.
