Camping with Kids
I just wanted some ideas on what to do with my kids while camping.?
We are going camping this week on vacation. I just wanted some ideas on fun activities for them. Both are boys. Ages 8 and 10. Any help would be great.
This place is just dead here.
Fishing at night is always fun on the bottom for catfish. Bring a radio. Flashlights for everyone. Trails are great fun. Get a couple of what I call throw away cameras and let them take pictures. Who can get the most wildlife pictures. Take a trash bag on the trail and teach them the importance of NOT LITTERING. You will find litter. It's everywhere. Take a compass and show them how to use one. North to the road left west to the park ranger office. Look for UFO's at night. Take binoculars. Be sure to tell them about Poison Ivy and show it to them. Take a pin and paper and let them write a letter to Grandma. Guess what were doing Grandma.
Most important Have Fun Winnie the Pooh's "Not" allowed. If you pass a comurcial cave on the way stop and see it.
