Taking my little girl camping?
My little girl will be just shy of 2 months old. My parents are all camping, and they want me to come visit and even stay the night. They have a camper so thats where we would sleep, and I live in NYS so the weather is around 70-80 this time of year. The problem is there isnt room for the pack n play in the camper, but we have this little bouncer thing that she sleeps in. Do you think it would be ok for me to bring her camping for a day, and if so, let her sleep in the bouncer thing (it sits low to the ground, vibrates and plays music) for the night?
Also can infants that old use sun block, and/or bug spray?
I would give your doctor a call to make sure it is okay. Babies that young can not have sunblock or bug spray. Sunblock is a least 6 months old, bug spray I am unsure. If you do decide to go make sure you get her a hat and baby sunshades and bring an umbrella for when you are outside with her. My husband and I really wanted to go camping this summer but decided not to, our daughter was born May 7th. It would just be too much on her and on us. Maybe you can tell them you can visit for the day and the evening but have to head home after that. I do really suggest giving your baby's doctor a call, his answer will really confirm it for you. What ever you decide have fun. =)
