Camping In Pennsylvania
Camping In Pennsylvania

Saw a spider when camping that I'm trying to identify. It was solid wood colored (more in description...)?
It was a similar size and shape to a widow spider, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't one as it had no markings - its color was solid all over. It had been on our tent and there were mostly eaten mosquitoes all around it (clearly not a web building spider. Also I appreciated it killing the mosquitoes for me). Found it when camping in western Pennsylvania. Just curious as I've never seen one that color before.
pic:
It almost looks like a brown recluse.

I'll keep looking though. In the mean time, do not let it near you.
Here is a PDF/site about PA spiders by Penn State.
