California Camping Moon
Any locations on where to camp near a beach in California?
I'm looking to go camping in July for a weekend. My boyfriend and I will be celebrating our 6 month anniversary and are looking for a cheap escape (camping) we would like to be within a half hour of the coast where we can spend some time at the beach. We are already close (San Mateo) but are willing to drive about 2-4 hours either north or south if there are better beaches / campsites other than Half moon bay
Search out KOA and the State Parks around Monterrey and Santa Cruz. These are some of the most beautiful in the world.
