Baby Camping Gear
Is there any reason I shouldn't take my 2 month old son camping?
My husband and I are having a little disagreement. I think that it would be perfectly safe to take our baby camping at this age but my husband thinks that he is way to young. Also is there any special camping gear you would recommend for the baby if we did decide to go?
Go!!
Just make sure you have clean water if your formula feeding. And some clean water to wash the bottles with.
Ask your ped or a pharmacist if you can use sunscrean at that age.
Bring a moses basket or something so he can sleep in it.
Don't forget the water diapers and the water toys!! Have fun!! And also, if you're going on a boat or something make sure they have life jackets for babys... or something like that.
Good Luck and goo!!! I totally would if the baby wasn't an October baby (already snows here at that time so driving on the highway is like an iffy thing)!!

eta - also you can buy nets to put around the stroller or carseat and pack and play (might be a good idea to bring that so you're not holding him all the time and you can have free hands to roast marshmallows).
